Matt Fiddes Martial Arts

Build confidence, improve fitness and learn new skills with friendly martial arts classes for children and families at ACSC.

About the Classes

Matt Fiddes Martial Arts offers engaging classes designed to help children and adults develop physical fitness, confidence and valuable life skills in a supportive environment. Whether you're taking your first steps into martial arts or looking for an activity to enjoy as a family, the programme offers an opportunity to learn, progress and have fun.

The Mighty Matts programme introduces children aged 3–6 to martial arts through age-appropriate activities. Sessions help develop coordination, balance, listening skills and confidence, while encouraging children to learn in a positive and enjoyable setting.

Children aged seven and above can take part in beginner martial arts classes, with family sessions also available. Training provides an opportunity to develop fitness, discipline and self-belief while learning new techniques and working towards personal goals.

Martial arts can offer benefits beyond physical exercise, helping participants build concentration, perseverance and confidence. Classes are designed to make learning enjoyable while allowing students to develop their abilities and progress at their own pace.

Newcomers are invited to book a free, no-obligation trial lesson to experience a class before deciding whether to join. Comfortable sports clothing is suitable for the first session, and no specialist martial arts uniform is required. Advance booking is recommended.
